Chapter 14

I didn’t have a wink of sleep until dawn, and neither did any of the gorgeous young women.

By the time the sun rose, I had acquired twenty or thirty pounds of muscle. Right now, I looked far more like an experienced blacksmith than the wiry, scrawny thief who had first stepped through the gates of the Bastion. What was more, the iron-hard muscle that now covered my limbs and torso was not just for show. My actual physical strength and endurance had increased tremendously. I felt like I could take on a minotaur or a troll in an unarmed brawl and win—without the aid of my Ogre Ring.

The steamy encounter hadn’t had the exact same effect on the young women, but a physical change had nonetheless come over each of them. Their feminine features were enhanced, their breasts were larger, their asses were fuller and rounder, and the flare of their hips more dramatic. The greatest change that my Sex Magic—combined with the incredible magic of the succubus rings—had wrought in them, though, could not be seen from the outside.

It was the same change the orgy had brought about in me. My mana lake felt like it had doubled in size, becoming a mana sea, almost. Each of the young women was a raw recruit, a trainee who had not even had her first lessons in mana purification. I knew that like mine had once been, the mana puddle within each of them would likely have been nothing more than moisture buried beneath parched earth like a pond dried and cracked after a long drought.

Now, though, after last night, each of them would have a healthy pool of mana within them. When I said farewell to the bevy of beauties in the morning—a very reluctant farewell, for all of us—I assured them that they would reach the rank of Apprentice far sooner than any of them or their trainers could have expected. I knew that this was no hollow promise. I also told them that they were forever bonded with me, so when the threat of Kraelkor was dealt with, they would be able to live with me as the rest of my harem did. This pleased them to no end.

After the last of the young ladies left, I turned to Tyler, the architect of this whole magnificent plan. I wrapped my arms around her slim waist, pulled her body in close to mine, and gave her a deep kiss that left her panting and almost limp in my arms.

“That, Tyler, was the best idea anyone’s had for a very long time,” I said, gazing into her black eyes, which smoldered with as much desire as they had the previous night. “Thank you.”

“I appreciate the thanks, but there’s no need for them. I got just as much out of that as you or any of the girls did. Don’t forget that this was also Alizer’s idea, not just mine. I know she would have joined us too if she’d been able to.
